AniMarket — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AniMarket, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Age Requirement & Eligibility

AniMarket is intended for users aged 13 and above.

Age Restriction — by registering an account or using the platform, you confirm you are at least 13 years old.
Parental Permission — users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian permission before using the platform and before making any purchases.
Young Users — anime communities include many young fans. While we moderate content to maintain a safe environment, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' online activity.
Account Responsibility — you are responsible for all activity under your account and must not share your password.

3. Virtual Currency

AniMarket uses a virtual in-game currency exclusively within the platform for entertainment purposes.

No Real-World Value — the virtual currency has no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or cryptocurrency, and cannot be withdrawn from the platform.
No Transfer — virtual currency cannot be transferred between accounts.
Platform Control — balances may be adjusted by the platform for technical, security, or policy reasons (e.g., correcting exploits, bugs, or economy imbalances).
Not Gambling — earning, spending, or losing virtual currency through card pulls, predictions, trivia, or any other feature does not constitute gambling. No real money can be won or lost from any in-game activity.
Entertainment Only — all in-game features using virtual currency are for entertainment and community engagement, not financial gain.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions and purchases are processed securely by Stripe, Inc.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
All purchases are final. Refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion.
By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
We may modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
Subscriptions grant platform perks (pull rate boosts, extra plays, cosmetics) — they do not guarantee specific in-game outcomes.

5. Not a Gambling Platform

AniMarket is explicitly NOT a gambling platform and does not facilitate real-money gambling of any kind.

All in-game activities use a virtual currency with no real monetary value.
No real money can be won from any activity on the platform.
Subscription fees and purchases are for platform features and perks, not for games of chance with real-money prizes.
Card pulls, predictions and trivia use virtual currency only — outcomes do not involve real money.
The platform complies with applicable consumer protection laws regarding virtual goods and entertainment services.
This is a fan community platform for collecting, trading, and social engagement — not a betting or wagering service.

6. Intellectual Property & Fan Content

AniMarket is a fan-made, non-commercial community platform.

We do NOT own, claim ownership of, or profit from any anime/manga artwork, character names, or intellectual property displayed on the platform.
All anime/manga titles, characters, and artwork belong to their respective creators, studios, and publishers.
Card artwork and character images are fan-art or promotional material used under fair use for non-commercial community purposes.
AniMarket is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any anime studio or publisher.
If you are a rights holder and wish to have content removed, contact us via the Contact page. We will respond promptly.

7. User-Generated Content

AniMarket allows users to create and submit content including chat messages, comments, profile text, suggestions, and uploaded images.

License — by submitting content to AniMarket, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the platform. You retain ownership of your original content.
Responsibility — you are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate third-party rights, community guidelines, or applicable laws.
Moderation — all user-generated content is subject to automated and manual moderation. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or hide any content that violates our policies.
Prohibited Content — you may not submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, NSFW, spam, or that infringes on others' rights.
Reporting — users can report any content for review by our moderation team.
Enforcement — violations may result in content removal, warnings, chat suspensions, or permanent bans.

8. User Conduct

By using AniMarket, you agree not to:

Use offensive, hateful, or harmful language in chat, comments, or profiles.
Exploit, hack, or manipulate the platform's economy or systems.
Create multiple accounts to abuse rewards or daily limits.
Impersonate other users or staff.
Use bots or scripts to interact with the platform.
Upload NSFW or inappropriate images — all uploads are screened by AI-based content moderation.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

AniMarket is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Virtual items, currency, and card collections may be lost due to technical issues, and we are not liable for such losses. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AniMarket and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of virtual items, currency, or account access.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page (click Edit on your profile header, then scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the Edit Profile dialog). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or create risk for the platform or its users. Upon termination, your virtual currency and card collections are forfeited and cannot be recovered.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the platform operators' location.
